Quick and Easy Stocking Stuffers

It's time for our Third Annual Quick and Easy Stocking Stuffer Workshop!!

Date:  Saturday, December 3, 2011

Time:  1-4 pm

Place:  Bedford, Texas

Price:  $1 for each item (order early for there are limited supplies)

At the class you'll make one of each project so you'll have a completed sample to take home. Then you'll take the rest of your kits home to assemble. You do have to pre-register for this class and let us know how many of each project you want to make so we can have them ready for you.

25 and Counting ~ Pill Box Advent Calendar

I am happy to share that I am hosting a workshop in my home this Sunday for Sharon Cheng who is going to show you how to make an awesome Advent Calendar made out of pill boxes!!  It is so cute and so fun.   It is made with the Stampin'Up! 25 & Counting Stamp Set and the beautiful  Holly Berry Designer Series Paper  both found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  The rows of bill boxes decorated above are displayed on a decorated cookie sheet (not included in class) so you can display it wherever you want.  The beauty of this is you can bring it down from out of reach for those "little hands" to open daily through December!!  It's perfect for using at home and then packing for out of town trips for Christmas!! 

Here is a close up of all four rows!!  You can attach magnets (not included in class) to put on the cookie sheet OR it is perfect for your refrigerator so the 'little hands' can reach and delete!!  I think this is one of the cutest advent calendars that can be saved from year to year!!

Baby Congratulations Card

I cased this card for a friend of mine who just announced that her daughter is having a baby!  It features a very cute stamp set in our Idea Book and Catalog, "Easy Events" on page 57 (123225 clear; 116958 wood).  I also used our Crumb Cake Cardstock (120953), Daffodil Delight Cardstock (119683), Wild Wasabi Card Stock (108641, Wild Wasabi 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, I love this ribbon! (125059), and the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folders for the Big Shot (117335). I hope you enjoy it.

Texas Tax Free Holiday

In celebration of returning to school Texas celebrates with a tax free weekend on supplies for school. Stampin'Up! passes this celebration onto you the customer. This is a swap project Terry Stanford made for our Demonstrator back-to-school swap. She is a talented artist and I love her work. She used the French Filigree stamp set and Stampin' Pastels. The pastel chalks are one of the tax free items.
